# Unstake SMAK from old staking

## 1. Unstaking from OLD FLEXIBLE Staking 🔥

### 🔻Unstaking Flexible

\- Make sure you have at least 0.5 - 1 XTZ into your wallet for fees. 

\- You need to know the total amount staked into the flexible staking at the current moment. For this you need to check your history transactions.

Example: if you have staked a total of  105342,351 SMAK —> your amount needed is 105342351 (no commas, no dots!)

\- Go to: <https://better-call.dev/mainnet/KT1TR4qabnDU6aAUym6nauSGaRwJpoKU3efP/interact/unstakeFlex>

\- Input in the field next to unstakeFlex the amount that you have copied before at the previous step.

\- Input in the source field your wallet address.

\- Click EXECUTE and choose Wallet —> Choose preferred wallet (ex. Temple Wallet) and approve transaction.

\- Transaction was broadcasted should appear! Done!

### 🔻 Claiming Rewards Flexible

\- Go to: <https://better-call.dev/mainnet/KT1TR4qabnDU6aAUym6nauSGaRwJpoKU3efP/interact/claimRewardFlex>

\- Input in the source field your wallet address.

\- Click EXECUTE and choose Wallet —> Choose preferred wallet (ex. Temple Wallet) and approve transaction.
